While we are on the subject. The Detector van has gone to the clinic for a while. A retired electronics engineer in Lancashire, has taken on the task of getting the electrics working

Was great to see it at the 1st cvf meet.its where all
the madness started
Iirc I saw 2 of these parked up at the back of the
gas works in cambridge when I was a teenager
before one was dismantled for parts
glad to hear electrics getting sorted.
I should imagine will be upgraded to digital!

If he can get it working, it will only detect analogue signals, but he will at leat get the arials to rotate and show some sort of signal on the scopes
