well I now have 2 vans with no roofs ,the roof of the mini bus had more fibreglass than metal so it came off Im well out of my comfort zone with this one

You're doing a fine job so far, there's less welding to do there than I did on Bonnie's inner cills:)

i have a little compressor and a air chisel so I managed to sort of unfold the spot welds ,Iv taken the roof off to the back seem and Iv cut away the A posts on the seem behind the dash so I have three accurate points to line it all up on well thats the plan ,I have a Mig that I get better with every time I use it and Iv found this spot weld gun thing that will fit my little aldi arc welder it looks like it might do a good job on the seems so fingers crossed oh ye and a joggler/ edging tool that fits on my air hammer so fingers crossed by next weekend I should either have a van with alot of little jobs or big colection of spares to put on here and ebay
 
Iv had a rubbish restoration day to day Iv started to reconnecting the wiring now the roof is fitted ,because iv used the wiring from the new roof to fit back in to the original wiring and as the new roof has extra wires for the newer wiper motor you can guess its not making much seance and to add to that it didn't come with a indicator arm so I salvaged the one of the newer van and gues what none of the witres match, then the top wouldn't come off the fuel pump ,I think I've drawn sludge from the old tank up the fuel lines
