Manifold query

As the van didn't sell on Ebay I've taken that to mean it wasn't meant to be so I've started doing the work for the MOT with a view to using it myself.

I've just taken the manifold off (the studs need replacing)and along with the Manifold bolts a stream of water came out as well.

Do the manifold bolts go into the water jacket or is my head gasket leaking ?

This is normal, nothing to worry about.

Funny how since not getting any bids or queries I have had 5 messages from people wanting to talk about the van in the last two hours

So if the bolts go into the water jacket do they need any thread loc on them on replacement or do they seal up okay on their own ?

I had the same scary water on the floor problem when I did mine, I didn't use any threadlock on it when I put it back together and it was fine.
