Maisy for sale

Hello all, after almost selling her last year, I have decided that it is definitely time for the sale...VERY reluctantly!
She is a beauty inside and out, but there are creepings of bubbled paint over the front sills and I'm worried that if I don't put her in the hands of someone who knows what they are doing she will ruin!

There is a hole in the floorboard where she had a leak over one of the sills but other than that she starts first time every time and is in great nick,she is MOT'd but I haven't taxed her yet this year.

I am based in the Midlands, near Newark on Trent and would love for her to go to a good home where she can be used a lot as she has got many years in her yet!

There are links on here with photos of her, i'm sorry but I don't know how to include them on here, but I will take photos of the sills this week as there is recent bubbling that will not be on the older pics.

Thanks Panky, you're a legend. Really hope she finds a good home, going to be so sad to see her go though! And my daughter will officially kill me! Sad times. x

very nearly called you about your van, pity you have to sell such a beauty!, but haven`t the money readily available just yet so didnt think it was worth wasting each others time!

good luck with the sale......but i do wonder how [email protected]!!!!!
 
A few people I talked to a the Tatton show today were actively looking for a Commer and I suggested they check the forum out, a lot of interest in Maisy:)

Thanks Panky, I appreciate that! A really nice couple came to view her today so I'm hoping that Maisy has found a new home...may well end up at Wolfy's having a bit of work done on the front sill but I'll be happy that she's in good hands, hence a friendly price of £2500 Bazz, (if you're looking to replace yours, sorry to hear youre in a similar predicament to me...there will be tears before bedtime for us both I imagine!) She's a lot smaller though so you never know, might be the perfect solution! Thanks, Helena
 
Hello, no she hasn't sold yet, I have someone viewing her at 12 o clock today and another tomorrow, so you would be very welcome to come and view her. I have advertised her on gumtree with some more photos so would be worth having a look on there because I've put some pictures of the rust up on there so that it's an honest sale. its called 'commer campervan sunshine yellow'.

Lovely chap from Portsmouth is the new proud owner, I'm chuffed that she's going to a good home, he got a bargain at £2500.
Hoping to see her on here again one day looking her best after he's worked his magic. A sad day and I am very gutted...
 
He really did get a bargain:I but you got pretty much what you wanted so happy all round, if you can be happy after selling your van[8)]

Glaad its off to a good home. I was waiting to see the outcome on the viewing before ringing. I'll find one somewhere. :)
