Don't need no passport, my ancestors came from Balquhidder, for those who don't know it's in Stirlingshire and it's where Rob Roy is buried, Islay that's where all the funny tasting whisky comes from, and with links to Comrie in Fife and Duke Street in Glasgow. But if you want to send me down a bottle of single malt then it will be gladly accepted.[^]

So far I haven't done any visiting with the family history, it's all been done by internet so I've added a couple of pieces of information,
Sorry for hijacking your thread David, the first is about the birth and it was 1834 at Cartran and the second is the 1841 census from E. Ardveich. My family are the McArthurs
