Lowering a Commer

I'm investigating getting some rear leaf springs lowered by 2", does anybody who's done this have pictures of their 'before and after' setup ?

Thanks Panky, I've recently discussed this with Martin but unfortunately he's no longer providing his lowered springs.

Tim has designed a coil-over setup and runs it on Kermit - which does sound amazing

Also, Philip Geest is running Ford transit MK1 diesel FT175 single front ones which fit the Commer rear and just require bushing to fit the existing Commer hanger bolts - they provide a 2.5" lower ride.

I wonder if the Transit perches are longer to give some support to the spring location. Just seems a lot of weight concentrated in a small area, you could always fit one of the Commer spacer springs to spread the load a bit.

There's a similar spring on some Bedford CF's but they are noticeably tapered thicker in the middle.

That sounds like a parabolic spring, something that I'm also looking into for the Commer
