Them steps are dead handy, just the right height to see into the gutters when you give then a good flummoxing with the wire brush. But they do buckle under the weight of a Panky when it gets hot in the garage:I
Smurfs step is a genuine ex BT van step Will...completely up to you if you want to chop it about, but you might be able to sell it for a nice little earner, then make up a new one to your own spec....just a thought...sell it to Panky, because it wouldn't buckle even under his great weight[}]
But TBH I think your right, I better stop using that one for a while. After looking under the van earlier today I concluded I could lower the step quite easily as it has two sets of supports one through the number plate panel and one from underneath.
My plan was to only use the supports from underneath for the new step and moving the numberplate into the valence, to cover the holes.
Seems pretty doable All I need to do is get cracking![8D]
