lovin' Wilma

Hi all, just a quick update whilst its quiet at work, Wilma is going well and we are really enjoying owning her. We have been driving her around and about just cus we can :D, we are off on our first proper jolly the last weekend in July after her first MOT with us, hope she passes ( we can't find anything amiss so we're hoping she'll pass ok). Am in the process of trying to convince one of the teenage sons to get underneath with a wire brush and waxoil, suprisingly he's resisting temptation:pbribes tend to work tho':). We've found a couple of rust holes that will need welding but on the whole she's in good condition although she does leak rain water through the front grill which needs sorting before any damage is done. gotta go xxx

Hi Jayne,

Is your Wilma the one that sold on ebay a little while ago? If it is I would like to say congratulations as your Commer is absolutely beautiful!

We are picking up our van on Saturday and we have bought it because we fell in love with Commers after seeing yours on ebay (if it is the same one).

Good luck with it, any chance of posting a pic so that we can see just how gorgeous Wilma is again?

Best wishes, Zoe and Dave xx

hiya, she is indeed the Wilma from ebay, and looks good in real life too:D glad to hear that she inspired you two to go on and get a commer, they're so much fun and draw a lot of attention wherever you go, our 4 yr old loves the fact that so many people wave as we're going by. I will post some pictures soon. good luck with your pickup hope you have as much fun as we do:D:D, jayne xx
