Thought id try on here before looking elsewhere and give someone wants some pint money :)

some random bits...the tap that goes into the top of an alloy head for the heater, probably rare so may have think of some thing else. A lap seat beat (for a middle seat)...and metal bar that raises the reel bit of a seat belt by an inch or two to allow it to fit with a bulkhead, got one so will save me making another one.

some strange ones in there but never know. Cheers all

I have a centre belt somewhere, Although i would buy new. I bought a pair for the rear and they came to £28 inc postage.

I sorted my garage into 4 piles of stuff.
1. Stuff I`m keeping
2. Stuff I`m not getting rid of.
3. Stuff I might use..one day.
4. Stuff that might come in handy.
 
Prob right there, will buy new. Mainly the head tap thing for the heater I could do with. Does anyone know hy there's a tap? Does it just run to the heater system and a way to turn it off?

It is just a tap to turn off the heater, you could fit any valve really - one from a plumbers merchants would do:)

Thanks panky, sorry to be thick but can't you turn it off at the dash like a normal heater or does it always circulate and you deflect the flaps from the heater matrix to the outside?
just one more :) I have a blocked off pipe coming off the water pump and while the heads off in going to get the blank in the head drilled and tapped and the tap added. Question is which is the out and which is the return or does it really not matter as it will find its own flow? Hunter engine btw. Cheers

On the Commer set up the only water flow control is the tap on the head (ouch) You can close the heater flaps but hot air will still circulated through the screen demisters. The hot water from the head is pushed through to the heater and is drawn back into the pump suction into the connection on the alternator side of the pump.

I just remembered you've got a Dodge so the heater controls are on the dash as you say so no need for the head tap (is that an alien experiment:I) So the pipes go from the head, through the dash controls to the heater, then back to the pump:)
