I have a visitor today, all the way from Eastbourne [:0]

This was bought by Dan, who is not yet a member, but has promised to join. It is the sister van to the £7000 one at Sunset Campers :)
He managed to drive all the way on 3 cylinders, said it was a bit sluggish on hills :I

very nice - I do like that conversion (is it a dormobile?) Is the interior a new one?

3 Cylinders? criky - and I'm worried about a slight misfire at 65 [:0]

Interior looks a bit homemade, but tidy. The green one was missing its interior too [?]

looks very nice,nicer than the previous pic's.hope they didn't pay more than it's worth,did well on the journey though [8D]how's it's body & chassis Martin ? at least it is in good hands [^]

I wasn't sure what to make of this one when it was being auctioned, but it looks like a cracker. The interior had been reworked and looked pretty functional from what I remember.

Looks ok on the outside, some rust round the peak/windscreen. Has had new cills and rear panel, but looks like they didn't do the inner cills [V] Paid too much, but that what happens with dodgy dealers [:(!]

Hi all,

Thanks for the words on the forum. Well she made it !! I paid a little over but partly my fault as I bid on her without seeing and I was a running out of time for a planned trip to scotland. I've flicked between thinking i made a big mistake and then thinking that she's a lovely old girl, your comments are a real help so thanks.

I know she's now in the best place she can be, so hoping we can prove my family wrong and that she'll make the scotland trip. The missis is getting a little jealous as i've obviously fallen for her charm and looks.

Hope to be able to spend a little time sprucing her up once she's had a little martin magic. Looking to convert her to LPG depending on costs of things so if anyone's got any advice on good value kits or contacts in the south that would be great.

Hoping that we can come along shiny and singing to your next meet.
 
I think its a great looking van and def in right place for special commer magic.... Once you have one of these vans i don't think you are ever the same lol... they are just great...

Welcome to the forum by the way... and look forward to seeing you at a meet in the future :D
