Light switch loose

Hi All,

Can anybody tell me if my switch is missing something? I can see the bumps on the switch and the grooves in the dash housing but it just swivels. I don't really want to glue it in but I don't mind if I have to. Any ideas?

There should be ring at the back of the dash that screws on from behind? Not near a commer switch to check atm sorry.

Hmmm that makes sense but I can't see a thread.

Might just glue the sucker in place. I'm sure I won't live to regret that decision ever.

There should be a spring clip/clamp on the back.

I think the spring clip on yours is on the wrong way round, the bent bit should be up against the back of the dash. Tried to get a pic but it's not very clear but it is the spring clip that holds the switch in place.

I remember now hope you haven't glued it.

Genius! Mostly fixed it. At least, it's usable now with it flipped. Luckily the glue remained holstered.

I sure hope somebody got fired for that blunder!
