Hi :D im looking to make our commer all super dupa but we have a hightop that we would like to swap for a lift up one.
So i just wondered if anyone either has one to sell or they know how i can get one?

This may be easier said than done as your van originally had a Wanderer lifting roof which has been replaced by a hi-top. Unlike most converters who cut a hole in the original roof and inserted their lift up roof, Bluebird and then CI, who built the Wanderer removed the entire central section of the roof, building the lifting section directly onto the gutters either side.

I recall from the interior pictures of your van that you still have the original side sections from the Wanderer roof, onto which the lifting roof was mounted. If this is sound (and it often isn't) you could mount a replacement Wanderer roof onto it. Problem is, I doubt you can find one that isn't rotten. :(

The other alternative is to find a donor van with an entire roof panel which you can fit. This has been done before, complete with fitted Autosleeper raising roof. a major job, but well worthwhile.

I hope I haven't put you off and wish you luck in finding the parts. :)

I can confirm it is possible to fit an Autosleeper pop top to a Wanderer :)

There was a Dodge autosleeper being broken in Poole with an apparently good roof. Not heard anyhting back from him for the parts I was after. I got sorted in the end, but it may be worth you chasing after him.

Do what I did and completely remove the remains of the wanderer roof and weld in an Autosleeper roof , then take the lifting roof off and fit a ragtop!
I can get a surfboard on my roofrack far easier now :D
