Oh, forgot to mention I removed the pipes from the heater box thingy, then attached a small bit of the hosepipe to one (drain) and attached a hosepipe connected to the other input (Went right through the my terraced house, as I only have onstreet parking) then turned the hose on so the heater thingy was flushed out. I removed the heater thingy in the end and gave the box in front of it a good clean thereafter and filled a couple of holes in this front box.
This is also where a bit of water might have been coming in when I left my flap open.
Again on the outside of the van rear windows there are drain holes which I think are in pairs about 7/8mm Diameter, I found it usefull to doctor these with a dremmel allowing for the off vertical installation to a commer, i.e removing the slight inward slant.
