LDV brake shoes.

I bought a set of brake shoes on eBay advertised as suitable for Commer PB fronts, but in fact LDV (Sherpa) rears. The price was really good at £25 a set, and a genuine AP product. It wasn't till I had fitted them that I found out that the bottom spring hole was different, but everything else similar.

The one on the left is the new one. You can see I've drilled a second hole at the bottom to match the original Commer shoe.
All fitted and working fine. In fact I've ordered a second set for next time.
Just a heads up. If you're happy to drill an extra hole these Sherpa shoes are fine.

Sorry no. If you can't find any there are places where you can get your originals re-lined, might be worth a Google.

Just been reading colinthefox post about matching front brake shoes, does anyone know if any common vehicles use shoes that match my Dodge rears ?.
