Friends bought this one and we had a great run down to Selsey yesterday to collect 'klix' - they had a great journey back - van in great condition with low mileage and sweet engine, did 270 miles without missing a beat- absolutely loverly.[^] Came with everything working and lots of interesting bits in the back and even came with spare cushion material and pots of matched paint:)
Got a couple of phone photos but hope to get some clearer ones soon that will do it some justice.

don't worry woolfy - have already mentioned your services ;)- van seems really good apart from door bottoms - the rest of the rust in photos is mostly just little dints that have wept brown tears in the sea air - looks like it'll clean up a treat:p

Got some better Klix pics, http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/bb50/studiocommer/klix
they came up to visit us today - running really well and much loved by new owners and hopefully off for her first weekend jaunt to the seaside next weekend. Found out that plate on front is for Wilsons Caravans of Epsom (where Glyn was born[:X])

Possible sale for door panels Woolfy so if you want a phone number for them or want me to pass on your number to them then email me on [email protected]

Excellent :) Great that this one can be used straight away, instead of a period of restoration :p

By the way, everyone I talk to seems to be up for Shell Island, how about easter [?] Are you going to organise this one Studio [?]

Don't know Shell Island myself, further north than my usual stomping ground - have some local knowledge for a Pembrokeshire run and also happy to go on an adventure to the wilds of North Wales if someone has some recommended venues - seem to remember Panky had been over that way.

A long, long time ago but by looking at the website nothing much has changed. I had a quick look and campers are only allowed if a tent is pitched for the purpose of sleeping in (I guess an awning counts as a tent). It looks like the site hasn't been updated for a while and it quotes 2006 prices of £6 per person per night. Open fires allowed on the beach.
This looks a bit more up-to-date

Will be well used I think and will keep this bit updated as she gets pampered - and show this thread to owners when they come up so they can catch up on any comments and get them to add to it when they are around. Sounds like some interesting gas conversion and overdrive stuff planned as well as some adventures[^]

looking good there. Nice to hear Klix has been used all summer. Rapier engine and overdrive box? criky everyone is at it!

It looks like you have a local commer club there, I recognise that yellow truck from some previous pictures.

Klix has scrubed up well [^]what a nice visitor to have :D
have they replace the front part of roof or just cleaned it [?]

Sybhil & no1

front of the roof is a repaint - but green looked more vivid than it did on the tin so have found a tin of original colour for it :)

I really like the green :I it is almost as though you could see through a window, transparent? obviously not though [8D]

Rapier engine needed a little timing tweaking - flew along the straight and downhill but pinking & slowing going up - was its' first go at any hills so a useful run to iron out teething troubles. Sounds like Bessie now too as has a bigger bore exhaust, we'll be like 2 little boy racers at the traffic lights soon - revving up to blast off all these little corsas ;)[}:)]:D

Owners now connected to the internet so hopefully will be able to say hello themselves soon :)
