hi all, does anybody know if theres any allowance for play in the kingpins? ive got a small amount of play in both front kingpins, just wondering if they were all like this???:D:D
 
ha ha ha ha i laugh in the face of danger!!! me and kingpins dont get on!! yes you are allowed a very slight amount of play but its all down to testers discretion and depends on how they test it as to what is a small amount or not but sooner or later you will be doing a kingpin.............good luck mwaaaaahahahahahagh[}:)][}:)][}:)];)
 
lol take your foot off the throttle davejones or you could be in a lot of trouble[}:)]no not really that bad unless it's windy but take care [8D]

Sometimes , if they are not too bad, you'll get away with loading them with grease before the MOT but if there is more than barely perceptable play I'd sort em out.

Total pain in the A*** Dave. Charlie did his and still had play [:0] I think it was the hub carrier, ended up sending him a complete unit to get it thru the Mot. Testers descretion, Charlies tester was a relative of his and still failed it first time [xx(]
 
you have my deepest sympathy!!! what a waste of the weekend!! unless they come out easy for you and charlie was just being a complete batsturd[:(!] best of luck will keep my kingpin damaged fingers crossed[xx(]

had to do some maintenance on the riley kingpins today, ah bliss :D

well its rollin again no play now:D, i have cheated though, i was lucky enough to have 2 good hub carriers spare off an old highwayman i broke years ago, i thought id be pushing it with the meet coming up.:)
 
Lucky boy. But don't stop now don't miss out on the fun, why not recon the old ones for spares [}:)]
