Heater removed and replaced with this alloy duct to get airflow to the radiator

I keep imagining some old film footage I saw about old commercials, one clip springs to mind where there was a guy driving a Scammell pulling a low loader. He was in the cab in his vest sweating in the heat from the engine that was sat along side him under the biggest engine cover you have ever seen - it divided the cab like the back of a whale. What for [?] it,s draughty enough without having the heater making it worse
May install a Mini heater just for de-misting, or a electric fan on the dash
