Forgot to mention the titanium bolts :I
Paul, there is a bit of a clue in the fact that i,ve only just bolted on the fuel pumps and they are neither plumbed or wired yet

Several days of head scratching has resulted in the gear linkage being somewhere near done

Just not too sure exactly how many gears it,s got yet :I no doubt some fine tweaking will be needed. It,s not easy trying to set it up when you,re on your own [B)]

Christ thats had some hours put into it lol
Ive been here and made my own linkage its not and easy thing to do but I used a modern cable shift gear lever and cables. Looking good tim have you used the original commer gearlever and rod mec up front??
Mine was quite a tight quick shift gate when I finished it[8D]
A commer with even bigger boost will be appering on a screen near you soon!

A little bit of grinding/bracing and a couple of gussets and all seems well a little stiff but we seem to have 6 gears [^]
It,s all STD up to the bellhousing Jon, although i have braced the gear lever to get some flex out.

Shortened the inlet manifold by 2" to get the carbs further in and give more lid clearance.
And got one end of the throttle sorted
Works really well, nice and light
