Katy, Freshly rescued

still not got one yet [:(!] but i have been back to the one i was trying to rescue (for nearly 3 years now) and looking good so far, just waiting for him to get back from france so i can go chat to him.hopefully in the next couple of months i will be starting my own readers rides thread lol. love the rear lights by the way. how did you go about mounting the fronts?

Fingers crossed you get the van you want eh! for the front lights holes were cut and the mounts were fabricated (from steel obviously)then tacked on whilst forming to the size of the hole.
hard to explain and i'm sure im making it sound easyer than what it was (I didn't do them btw)

Goin for an autosleeper style layout, not to sure on the finish yet. I've nearly finished boarding the floor and insulating so will be getting on with it asap.

cool, keep the pics coming. alot of people use vinyl flooring in the whole of the back. but when i get mine i intend to use vinyl in kitchen area, with carpet in the seating area, gives the illusion of a kitchen AND living area lol might be worth considering for yours?

Hi, i've recently brought a commer in a similar condition to yours was at the start of the thread, I'm really impressed with the quality of the work you've had done and i just wondered if you could let me know who did the welding and prep work as i've got to start on my project asap.

welcome to the madhouse mr c:D why not start your own thread under readers rides and post some pics of your van[?]

Hi mr c, thanks for the comment, a good mate of mine did the work for me (i helped a little along the way) he is kind of semi retired but may be tempted to do another 1 for a price! mine drove him mad!!!! [}:)]

I knew when he'd came round to my way of thinkin, He stopped saying 'that f****n van's doing my head in' to 'Katy's doing my f****n head in' Lol :D

Been having a go at building the interior, many thanks to panky and triumph dan for pics, measurements, and diagrams e.t.c.
It's based on an autosleeper interior but with a few differences.....
Warning, the following pics will upset the traditionalists!!! ;)

The cupboards will have round corners, flush doors with push pop catches no handles.
Hope you like [?] :)

Its been pretty trial and error so with that in mind and the fact that my woodwork skills aren't up to much it's taking aaagggeeesss!
