Katy, Freshly rescued

New side panel clipped in place. We've decided to smooth the overall look out with de-seaming and less flutes. (this pic is before the arch has been cut out btw)

I started to strip the rear doors tonight and found under a layer of paint on the lower left on the nearside door a badge showing the name of the conversion company.

Oh yes we like the pics[8D]
Some great progress and a nice twist to the way you're fitting the new panels[^]
Richard Holdsworth was a well respected converter normally associated with VW's in the 70's, this must be one of his better ideas[8D]

Cheers Panky, I can't take the credit to be honest, Clark , my mate whos doing the work is the guy with the vision and skills, I just keep supplying the steel and cutting discs ;).

Looking good Scott. Personally i prefer the look of the Flutes, but in this case your man is doing a pro job of ironing them out;) this may catch on:p

Pia is responding well to her Botox Treatment!

Thanks for the comments guys, it's coming on well (the work will slow considerably when she comes back to me in a few weeks!) The colour scheme is a sore subject in our house i want to change to light blue and white, the wife wants to keep red and cream so watch this space!
Yeah scott I wasn't sure about losing the flutes but i'm happy now i can see how it's coming together.
More pics coming soon

Hi will, Yes it's coming along nicely, I should be getting her back by the end of may so I can get to grips with prepping the body for paint, a proper crash course for me, never done anything like this before .The pop top is off and ready to be sold, why, are you interested?

Hi Will
I'm near Barnstaple north devon, i would like it gone asap to be honest and i am open to reasonable offers.
It does need some tlc e.g. new rubber and skylight and the canvas needs a damn good cleaning or renewing.
Let me know if your interested as I'll be putting it on e-bay sometime soon.
regards, scott.

not sure if I could work to your timescale if I had to collect it [V].

how much do you want for it ? Although I expect the costs of a courier would be a killer. [xx(]

Hi will, I would gladly store it for you but storage is at a premium at our house. I bought an auto sleeper top off Tim last december. The courier charged me £175 which was more than the roof but the round trip for me would of been around 550 miles! so i thought it was well worth it (where are you?) I was thinking offers around £100???

cheers, scott.

I'll see what quotes I can get on shiply before making a decision.

I am located in Hampshire between Southampton and Bournemouth.
