just trying something

can someone let me know if they can see this picture that I've put on here with just a couple of clicks.
If you can't see it then my experiment has not worked

I click on it and see a big green Commer:)

Yippee I've found an easier way to post pictures. That commer was the one I was driving when I threatened to bray all the Rolling Stones. That was actually in Hyde Park with Park Lane behind.
I'll go back and see exactly what I did and post it on here .

ALTERNATIVE WAY TO PUT PICTURES ON HERE
This might sound hard but it's not. First time enter into your address bar http://pixlr.com open it and save a link either in favourites or bookmarks. It is an online program so it doesn't download to your computor.Once you've saved a link everything else is easy. [1] Click on your pixlr link and when it opens on the top line left click on Pixlr imm.io. [2] Another window opens with "select image to share" and a "BROWSE" button, using the Browse search for the photograph you want, click on it and then click "OPEN"
[3] when the picture opens you will see a "Link this image" highlight the contents of the box and right click. In the drop down box left click on "COPY" [4} Come back to the forum find where you want to put the picture either New Thread or Reply to thread put your pointer in it and right click, in the drop down box click on "PASTE"
I hope there is someone on here tonight to have a go to see if my instructions are OK.

Thanks Tim, they were taken in the early 1960's when I worked for T.C.L from Dagenham first one in Hyde Park London, second one in Peacehaven, between Brighton and Newhaven, great days and great memories. Really the reason that I put them on was double checking that my new way of putting pictures on here was working OK.It is far easier for me than using the other method.

Cool pic. As far as posting pics I find photobucket very easy. Just copy the link attached to the photo in PB and paste it in a thread here.

I am not a person, I am a number, 395 actually......Be seeing you!
If I told you I was a pathological liar, would you believe me?

Yes Colin that's a young me aged about 22/23, I can't believe how handsome and smart I was them days probably 1962, although I'm a bit worried about the way I was standing with hand on hip.

Never mind about the hand on hip....you look like something from Wallace & Grommit:D:D

2 years before I was even born.....:D
