Yay Tim, i knew from the pics it was just surface rust i will get over to the Barn soon mate, will drag Jon with me too, and promise i will bring better cake option this time

Buy yourself a processing plant on eBay for about £300 (or make your own) and then buy cheap used chip fat from the local chippies etc and you end up with biodiesel costing a few pence/litre instead of £1.40/litre. I'm running my Passat on new veggie oil at 95p/litre which is still a good saving but brewing your own is even better. I think you're allowed to brew 2,500 litres before you have to declare it to HMRC and pay tax.
