Just a thought... what do you think???

See we now have a members map... Well how about recommendations of campsites that you guys have been too.. As i see the question is bought up from time to time. Kind of tried and tested..

Sorry admin probably means more work for you

Just a thought, as i am checking out some on the internet and your mind gets a bit boggled lol

Cazz...Missing Smurf being on the road now!!!!

You know.......those little things that are nothing, that for some reason have you seething????

Well, when we went to Beaullieu the other week, I spotted this little book

''the little book of campers''............YEP!! all about VW's

Also, they had toy vans, plates, mugs, tea towels, pens and blah, blah, blah!!!!!

Now, I actually quite like VW's but for the love of God! give us a break!!

Now that would be cool[8D] - but lets leave the serious merchandising to the darkside and keep us as a little bit of a mystery to most people;) Commer cruet set - I don't think so.

LOL.....plenty of rust holes to shake the condiments out of lol

I wouldn't mind but when you go in the museum, guess what?

Not a VW in sight!!

I don't drink whiskey, I drink whisky!

Ahhh? have you run out of wine? You can share mine ...fetch your glass sir!

Well most of the time I mix it so dont see the point in paying the extra

Although when my boss is paying at xmas I always add the E lol

Anyways, back to Cazz's point!

I can highly reccomebd The Black Bull campsite nr Pickering in Yorkshire

Fairly basic, no showers but pub toilets open 24hrs and potti disposal, fresh water etc, also a few static vans for rent!

And an excellent pub/restaraunt

Pickering steam railway, going up to Goatherd Goathland (thats where they film Heartbeat) You can have lunch in the pub they use in the program and if you desire what a beautiful walk back (downhill)

Def want to take Cazz & boys there one day

Wey hey, I can recommend Rivendale in the Peak District, Derbyshire, it's about 12 miles from Ashbourne, Buxton, Bakewell etc, we are here / there! at the moment, wifi in the pub! Brian loved all the hills on the way here. Pub on site is small and friendly, great food, toilets are clean.

We left home last Friday and went to Uttoxeter racecourse for the Stag National weekend and camped in Brian - which raised some eyebrows :D we moved on to Rivendale from Monday, so far 5 nights in Brian and loving every minute of it[8D][8D][8D]

Moley and Brian the Snail :)

That would be cool, my kind of camping (in a van :I) totally self sufficient[8D]
