Commer Dandy by Dandy Caravans
The Colonel Mustard
The price that Jonny is asking, is that reasonable? Sorry if I sound silly but I have no idea how much a Commer is worth these days, we had considered selling dads, for about a nano second, and thought it was only worth a few hundred pounds at best, have we got something valuable?
Leave that nano second behind. Believe me once you are on the road in you Commer the last thing on your mind will be how much it's worth - to you it will be priceless[^]
[!]Not the warmest welcome Jon for a 'starting member'[?] Might live at the opposite end of the country to where the van is, and work weekends....just a thought
I started with nothing.....and I still have most of it!
I meant no offence to what I said but there are so many people coming on here with big dreams of commer ownership posting wanted adds then forgeting all about them! If youve lookied in your piggy bank and can afford one go out there and get buying/looking. Were all here for questions and answers if you think something doesnt look right. All I was trying to say was you better get your arse into gear as this will be GONE in no time with it being an none coach built early model, with very very minimal rust, if you take into acount the work amd money that would go into a ****ter (wich most are, no offence again)to get it like this you would be well over the asking price. I speak from experiance and years of knowledge.
Also dont tard this forum with the same brush as others, everyone on here helps each other including me.
Good luck pablo, now go and draw your money out and get it brought. It will be the best 4grand you ever spend and if you look after it will even make you money.
A commer with boost will be appering on a screen near you soon!
I see where your coming from but iam not 100% on the conversion.bearing in mind ive been around them 22 years I also know alot about the vans mate and having owned plenty of campers im just being extra careful with money.i dont want to start of on here on the wrong foot with anyone.so id just like to say thanks for any help too.i have spoken to the seller of this van and will be keeping in touch.i restore cars and campers so just know the amount of s@it out there too.
Thanks again
I'm not surprised this van has sold so quick, what a beaut! If I was in the market for a van, this one would tick all the right boxes for me. Well done with your sale.
