She did fail though... headlight alignment and blowing exhaust - why didn't I check them before the test I don't know?!
the tester also got all confused by the brake lights coming on with the handbrake, but I showed him how it works and he let me off that one...
back at 4 for the retest

woo hoo... everything is fine now (I don't think he even checked anything!)
Molly (our morris minor) failed too, a bad earth (fine when I checked it this morning...) headlight too low (not been touched since last year!)
and wheel bearings wobbling (they are supposed to wobble a bit...)
all easily sorted though...
so anyone else coming to commerfest 2010?
