what is everyone thinking regarding this van?

I was looking at it - now thinking the rear of the van maybe a bit too rotten - I take it the rear is fully made out of wood??

I was just talking about the towing bracket when I said death trap but the van does look like it's suffered from water ingress. Many coach builts (including Jennings) have the frame rot out behind the cladding due to leaks and damage to the furniture inside can be a sign of this. Bonnies rear frame and floor was replaced by a previous owner, luckily it was spotted before any harm came to the cupboards, but this one looks like it's gone further - the only way to tell for sure is to go and have a prod. For £2K though it's a bargain but be prepared to strip the interior and rear cladding for some repairs. Actually a lot easier on a Jennings Than other coach builts because the rear panels are made of aluminium and held on with screws and pins - the outside does look very straight though.

Yes, a lot of work there. It's a shame someone has painted the veneered interior, and it would be hell of a job to remove all the paint without leaving residue in the grain etc.
I don't know what they've attached the tow bar to. It's a very long way to the chassis from there!
However, Jennings = good.
