Hi Mate
Forgiven for what?
No its the camper in Practical Classic magazine, it will be on the shelves in a few days (I get an advance copy)
The reg is AMY XXX
I think its Dozer's isnt it?

Mine is still awaiting a heart transplant with the Holbay engine I acquired which despite being "only just built by an ex-holbay engineer" according to the ebay seller, needs looking at.

Cheers

Thanks folks.. i have just replied on both topics..
I trust that you are plouging into the TK Paul.. Good to here from you..I used to drive a TK when I was 18,it was a great ship, I remember the time I fell asleep at the wheel in it, crossing Bodmin moor once at 2.00am.. Great memories, could have been my last. If only the one I used to drive had had a bed in it!!
Hope you can get to one of the meets in it this year, Good luck with the resto..:)

I have posted some other comments about the PC write up on a posting from Ray..
Cheers.. Will;)

Great article Will!!can only boost commer popularity.:):)
An article in Classic Car Mart, January edition, about buying a classic camper, with Commer/Spacevan campers getting very favourable reports.:D:D
It would seem that old brit campers are having a new lease of life.[8D][8D]

back to my "rootes"

Thanks for that Trev & co.. I must see if a copy is still in the newsagents.. Its good to see some more support for the Brit vans!!

Sorry Trannyvanman, its a bit awkward to describe..
Its a mix of rod end bearings, and 8mm allthread inbetween the
swing ?? linkage.. I extended the original commer gear change rod by about 12".........I cant describe it im afraid, but you would be welcome to have a look at mine or Daves van.. I dont have a scanner, so I cant email a sketch.
And the digi camera has packed up..(Sorry Chris !!:D:D)
I could poss post you a sketch if you really want to do the conversion, But if you are planning on doing a full eng and box swap
you would realy need to see one of ours and get your pen and paper out.. Cheers.. Will..:)

i was thinking of it with a diesel engine on it what do you think
or i was also thinking of a nissan engine and auto box from a black cab
