:I It's that time of year when I get the annual hosting bill for the forum and as I was encouraged to add the donate button here: http://www.commervanfan.co.uk/forum.htm I thought it might be a nice time to jangle the virtual tin.

So if you have had some value out of this place whether mechanical or simply entertainment think how much it can be to join clubs, read magazines or get some friendly advice from a mechanic.

I resist the urge to put ads on here as I don't like them myself on other sites and for those who didn't know I am always willing to write letters to prove "club membership" for insurance companies that provide a discount.

it's a job to know I did a tenner very generous from me I am normal £1 if your lucky :I I have no idea what it costs Admin but don't want to see loadsa ads [V] but if you count the pennies the ££'s will count their selves so I am told so any £1 would help I am sure!

Put it this way Jules, it hasn't bankrupted me the last four years before the button existed but it is more than the annual car insurance if that gives you some idea? I pay for hosting the forum, the site, the email service, any extra will be put into other bits needed like insurance for the NEC this year (which reminds me to speak with Mr Maltas!), banner for the shows/meet etc then if we get over that I will put it all to a charity (maybe same as commerfest or others by suggestion) but we haven't got that far in the past.
 
donation sent, if anyone is struggling with the donate button (like i was) make sure you click the update button to the right of the box where you put your donation amount, then it will work (im a numpty)

ive also done it. and thanks again john for this fantastic site you created for us mate. we would be at a total loss without you. may we have many more happy meets and commer years ahead.;):p

Insurance renewal at the end of the month, but give me a shout in the middle of October and i'll definately throw some money in the tin. This place is essential for my limited sanity. ;)

Gonna go monthly payments on my insurance and it's come in better than I expected, so i'll throw some in the tin in a couple of weeks, not next month as I thought :D
