hello
the corsa c column indeed has an electric motor bolted to it and relys on a pulse feed from the ecu but these colums are used alot in auto grass racing and you can buy a little box to plug in with a dial so you can adjust the amount of work it does (you end up with one red wire and one black nice and easy) as for the linkages you simply convert the end of the commer steering shaft to accept the corsa column and let it do all the work its like having arms like popeye without the spinach
i know it should work as i have a bay window in peices ready to accept this setup once painted its worth ago plus you get a decent steering wheel out of it too lol
ps im based between luton and dunstable anyone local
parking at my house is like puntuation,i just cant think where to put the commer
