total length with carb is 14 1/4", so there may be some bodywork mods needed time you add a stub stack and k&n ;)

think of the saving on tyre wear ;) and the possibly improved handling :D

I'm a wee bit worried - it's only 13" between the block and the side of the engine bay :I

i couldn,t really make it any shorter and still get good flow. looking in the engine bay, you will have to cut out a bit for sure, but it doesn,t seem to interfere with anything or cause problems in doing so. if you don,t like this option then i can modify it so as the carb turns through 90*. this will fit easier but not too good for flow.

No it's OK - I wouldn't dare change the design, I'll just chop a lump out of the engine bay[}:)]

a wise choice sir :D
if you make a cardboard pattern to box in the hole, i will make it up in stainless for you ;)

I know - I'll get some copper elbows from B&Q and glue 'em on - turn the whole lot vertical and have a down draught carb as original:). May need to put a power bulge in the roof though ;)
