Hi Tim, good to see another commer owner joining the fray - at least you have had a good idea of what you have got yourself into with owning one!
Am guessing with the 2.0 litre engine we will see you up towards the front of the commervoys;)
Best of luck with number3 :)

just wait till you see that big lusty straight six cylinder under my bonnet.with about fifty-70thou shaved off the head, and the port holes smoothed out with k/n air filters fitted and the overdrive wired up to second gear aswell as third and 4th,and to finish it off that nice stainless straight through exaust pipe making that deep rumble as i burn rubber up the street, ahh i cant wait.oh alright then i might fit just one silencer,(but only to keep the naighbours happy and to stop you moaning because mine sounds beefyer than yours) ha ha.:p:);)

I think you might have to extend that freshly painted engine cover that's lying on your garage floor [:0]

and dont be a smart alec and say a v8 or something, actually yes do say a v8 because i would love to see you try and squeeze one of those into that tiny engine bay.;)

all i need is an adaptor plate and how about this old boy

Ahh yes, that's the Hillman Avenger engine isn't it - should slot straight in (as long as you don't need to use the bed, cupboards, camper interior in general)[:0]
