Thanks, everybody.
Yes, I'm home. And the Commer is sitting on Norwegian soil (tarmac, actually) for the first time ever - to my knowledge anyway. It has been one epic journey, I must admit. From time pressure in England to get it to the 1st ferry on time, then a long trip through an incredibly windy Denmark - which I will never forget - to finally drive off the Stena Line ferry here at home in Oslo, only to be greeted by a team of customs officials saying (about the Commer) "What the h*** is that??"
The biggest surprise was actually to learn how impatient the Danes where on the roads. I have never before seen so many suicidal overtaking manoeuvres. On the other hand, every other person there stared like mad at the van and was clearly wondering what it was. Cannot believe what stir it caused.
So there you have it: Sunshine and rain, calm and pain, dirty carbs and dodgy electrics, heavy seas and wind about to blow you right off the road, headache after hours of motoring, scenery to die for - this extended weekend holds it all.
If only I felt I had the time to stop and take some photos, and not only while waiting for a ferry.. that would probably be my one regret. Nevertheless, the main objective was to get the camper over Oslo, and that has now happened.

The town of Randers, Denmark.
Amazing what a bit of (strong) tail wind can do:
Crossing the Limfjord on the tiniest of ferries - in gale force winds.
Parked up in the evening awaiting the early morning ferry departure to Norway.
It may be windy outside, but it is cosy and comfy inside:
The evolution of campers.... :
A sleepy Commer (just like its owner) bound for..
.. Oslo !
