Is your Commer a landmark?

Talking to a couple of my neighbours the other day, they both said that they gave directions to their houses by using my XK as a reference ie. three doors to the left of the Jag. Do any of you find your Commers being used in the same way by your neighbours?

Not got a Commer yet, but the purple Opel certainly is. When I moved into the village and started meeting folk they all refered to "Ah, you're the one with the little purple car!!!
 
yup. went to a small classic car shjow up here the other week and why there i overheard someone with a bedford ca talking about the little green commer thats just turned up by the football ground.

When I have kebab delivered & they ask for the address I just say the place with all the vans!

lol, our local kebab house and chinese know who we are by name and our address off by heart. guess thats a sign i should eat less takeaways lol
