I was wondering how many of us suffer from this malady. I felt so pleased with myself on getting Maud (Wanderer) back on the road that I then dragged out my 1960 BSA C15 getting her started was easy so why did I suddenly get the urge to pull her to bits? Well a week later and I am waiting for new wheels Avon speedmaster tyres have arrived all tinware went off to my mate Steve's paint shop (back to original Almond metallic green). A trip to Liverpool and I picked up cables, nuts, bolts etc. frame to touch up I had it stoved in an earlier moment of madness,I need to find a fairly near chrome plater then its wait for all the bits to come back and we have a nut and bolt rebuild. The real insanity is while waiting I got bored and dragged out the 1959 Triumph Tigress 250cc twin scooter (yes Triumph/BSA/ Sunbeam badged 175 two strokes and 250 petrol units) cut a long story short, the Tigress is now in a Billion bits (slight exaggeration). waiting for the same treatment as the Beeza. What is really worrying is now I'm bored again waiting for bits to come home and that MGB GT is winking at me from the corner of the garage, daring me. Will keep you posted.
