Invisible V Dubs

I was in the centre of town yesterday lunchtime and there were two bay window V Dubs parked close to one another in the middle of a historic square full of people (Angel Hill for anyone who knows Bury St Edmunds). Nobody took any notice of either of them. :(
It made me wonder what the reaction of people would have been if it had been a couple of Commers? :p[:0]:D

Took Ran to work today :D:p[}:)]:D my new colleagues loved her especially my boss [:0]we have a potential newbie :D[}:)]:Dbut don't worry he's far to busy to talk too much here [}:)]
she got lot's of attention... Roof up, bunks out, in all the cupboards, what's this, how does that work, how fast lol :)

Last weekend decided to give Thomas a first good clean and wax,I was truly amazed at the amount of people walking by who stopped and started talking about him, most of the conversations started with "I haven't seen one of them in years" I gave me such a buzz:D:D

hi

I have a 1973 Highwayman and have had it on the drive for about 10 months, every time im out working on her (Betty) some one of "the older generation" will come over and tell me storys of how they went on their hols in a commer van when they were younger . realy dont think you get that with Vdubs do you ??

Keep on Commering

Here in Pembrokeshire the surf and tourism scene brings a lot of camper vans in of all shapes and sizes - veedubs by the bucketload so they have become part of the scenery - but Bessie still stands alone and brings those 'I remember those' smiles [^]

Bessie - four star commerdation

this is the bit i love about commers, and i love when someone says "hey my son went round new zealand in one of those", and i will say what a commer that is great at which point they say "no in a darkside". (at this point i'm happier and £4K up) i just took my staff out for a team building event to celebrate the end of the financial year, went shooting and then out for a meal. I took them all in ralph so they could have a drink, how useful is this old camper with his 7 seats. they loved it (i think) and laughed alot when we kept getting overtook by lorries!!:)
