Hi, try Richard Hoskins who do classic vehicle insurance thro` Equity Star. i had my Ford Consul & a Commer on the same policy limited to 3000 mls for £180 fully comp & i`m just a shade older than you.

Good luck [8D]

RH are very good and the break down cover is good (got towed home from London only had to wait 30 mins for the recovery truck after my call for assistance :)

I'm insured with RH, and have their breakdown cover, but no contact details. What do I do if the Commer comes to a full stop? (sorry!!)

Thanks macker. I don't have a policy book, in fact I have very little paperwork at all. I checked their website today and it does say that their Motorhome policy gives breakdown cover, but my certificate says "RH specialist division", but doesn't mention motorhome, although the cert specifically says "Commer Motor Caravan" I think I'll ring them tomorrow.

I got a credit card type card with who to call on it,safely tucks into the purse/wallet ,sure it was detatched from policy book.

"SYBHIL" & N0.1

good luck - I had opposite problem(am with Lynbrook), got so much paperwork that phone number was well buried and obscure. Have used breakdown cover once and was good to know it worked - was part of the Green Flag list of breakdown garages.
