A question:
Ours is a bus so the floor is just the ripply metal. How do camper (or other) vans stop any wood etc layed on top eventually sink into the ripples? Is it just thick plywood ? Or isn't it the problem I thought it might be ?
I'm planning on some sound deadening around the gearbox area, with some thermal insulation then a layer of ply, then lino (maybe carpet). So I guess I'm wondering how thick the ply should be, and indeed whether this is a goodly plan.
