Hi chaps, Please bear with me..Anyone "in the know" with electricals please? My indicators have decided to all come on at once when operated in either direction. My van is a 1980 Dodge Autosleeper and has the later multifunction indicator stalk, with facility for horn, indicators and high beam...possibly washer jets as well but these are now wired to a seperate switch..
The indicators and hazard warning lights appear to be connected to the same 4 pole relay..My hunch is that the fault must be at the stalk end but have had it all off the steering column and each of the "sticky-out" wires/rods that make earth when operated seem to be doing their job independantly...i.e. only one touches it's respective contact at a time...
Something just doesn't ring true with how they look though, they are curled around...I'll try to put a pic up using 'paint' later.
I'll be honest,I'm stumped! Would really appreciate some kind of knowledge, pics, diagrams of the wiring at stalk and relay..I'm afraid I'm a numpty when it comes to electrics so please feel free to speak to me as such
Many thanks in advance,Scott
