cool i love imps was my 1st car well it was a sunbeam stiletto
i kept it till about 5 years ago and sold it to my mate who has space framed it with a wide body kit and a judd v8 engine will be mad when its done
 
Ah spoke to my mum about her imp, it was sold to some one in letchworth herts about a week later she saw it on someones drive in Glebe road it had different no,plates & she was so convinced it was hers she went up the drive to it,it still had the seat covers & a distinctive scratch on one of the panels,so one would presume they sold the no plate.so even if we find a pic of it it hasn't got the same reg to track it down :(

My 1st car was a Stiletto ( LNK 921H ) I passed my driving test in the car, went camping to Bournemouth in it using the front reclining seats as beds, I had my 1st crash in another Stiletto (OMJ 378H) went through the windscreen after having a head on collision with a Triumph 1300....ouch that still hurts now! Happy days though, well mostly. When I first went self employed I specialised in repairing and selling Imps as no local garages liked working on them
Would love another Stiletto now if anyone has one, or a Commer Imp Van. ;)

Get yourself over to theimpclub.co.uk there's usually one or two Imps for sale on there. Yours must have been an elder cousin of mine, LNK635L. OMJ rings a bell ..........

Any chance its still available? I would like a van to advertise my business, it would be going back to my "Rootes" :)
 
My fave Stiletto was KKX 629G. A rare light blue colour with tan trim that I fitted from the wreck of OMJ. I owned that car about 4 times before losing trace of it in the mid 1980`s It no longer appears on the DVLA register but could be lurking in a garage somewhere. That is a car I would dearly love to find.
