Imp Needed for comedy show

I've received this request for help so I'm hoping some of you Imp / Commer owners will be interested ( I;ve emailed Bazateer already)

Hi there,

I am contacting you from a new Prime Time saturday night BBC One production, John Bishop's Britain. The show is a new stand up show looking at the things that affect our lives in Britain - growing up, sport, holidays... We cover many things in the series.

Our comedy sketches are essentially 'flash backs' to John's own stories he tells in his stand up.

We are looking to hire a Hillman Imp to use as a prop for a comedy sketch that we will be shooting in London, and would like to ask if there is any way your company could help us source one from an owner / member of your club. That person would also get a chance to feature in the sketch if they so wished!

It would be fantastic if you could get back to me with any help you may be able to offer! It would be wonderful to secure such a classic vehicle for this item.

I can be contacted on either ************** email Moley for details

Many thanks indeed for your help!

Best,
Mike

thats strange, i had a company called abbey travel call me up last week looking for a commer van to be used in another programe on tv, the shoot will take place down in cornwall or devon i think, and will take place on a few different days in the first week of august, something like every other day, but to make it worth your while they were offering to put you up in hotel ect and also pay for the use of your vehicle. if anyones interested give me a call as i have their number. they didnt say how much they would pay over the phone but said it would be rewarding.;)[?]

Was all set to do this filming this morning, they emailed me on Tuesday. At the last minute yesterday they cancelled.

Oh yeah, no mention of being an 'extra' either although an extra was to drive the Imp.
