Hi All,
Its been a while but I am still alive.

No change with the Dog im afraid, has been sat languishing in the garden since the fateful drive up to Lincolnshire in July 2013

I have been so busy with work and doing up the house that any commer fettling has fallen to the wayside.

just as a reminder of where I am at, I need a rewire following the engine fire and need to get the engine out to sort the main bearings and sump oil pump.

I might even put a new engine in and sell off all the nearly new bits of the old perkins 4108 engine.

maybe this summer...... but I said that last summer.......

I also have a rat living in the van somewhere, behind the sink i think.

I'm glad your still alive. Good luck with your van, since I've had mine I've hardly stopped working on it or asking questions about it. At least the rat isn't in the kitchen.

LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE it's really you:D For a while I thought the subsidence in you new place had swallowed you up - or even worse we'd lost you to Facebook;) The poor old Dog, I do think it's got to the point where you call time on the old Perky. It was a brave attempt but you failed miserably, so admit your shortfalls, resign to the fact that you are useless and get a petrol lump in there - or maybe just stop messing about and get the old oil burner sorted;)
Dust the tent off and get to Commerfest so we can mercilessly take the p**s out of you.
As for the rat - sent in Nipper[}:)]

Blooming Heck Lee one good thing about the rat is it's brought you back out of the woodwork :D
Just get on with it and sort the Dog out it's about time we saw you and Nipper again

Lee. Thank you for making me aware of your Perkins fire. I'll see if there's something I can do to prevent this happening to us. It did occur to me that this pipe might be fragile, but didn't imagine what the consequences could be!

I'll get a decent extinguisher too.

Hope you get on the road again soon.
