Ignition switch advice

I'm currently progressing sorting out our Commer's dash wiring which has had plenty of previous mods the DPOs - usually with bare twisted wires of too lower rating and cocktail sticks [:0].

Amongst the horrors is the ignition switch, it's been held on with yards of tape - seems the original 'top hat' plastic cover is split and no longer holds the switch in position on its own. The switch is fine and appears to be a common Lucas item but can anybody tell me what this 'top hat' cover is called as I'd like to get a replacement but so far I'm stumped what to seek out

Cheers

I got the whole thing from Speedies - sorted! Saying that I have a later (almost dodge) van with a steering lock.

I also have an old style ignition switch (somewhere) - For the trialgular dash Commer vans if you want it?

Thanks BMM, my switch itself seems OK it's just the little black plastic cover which holds in place on the steering column which I need.

Are you saying Speedies' switches come with this cover ?

If not it's back to the lashings of tape !

Cheers Martin if you have one that would be great - let me know how much etc.

Also our exhaust looks like it's on its last legs, so thinking of going the RC40 sooner rather than later. However I've seen on old post that you may have some 'performance' alternatives which don't require cutting and welding etc. Are these available and if so what are the details / cost.

BTW : The jack arrived this morning, so a HUGE thanks for that :D
