I have a commer to sell

i don't think the body is that bad :)did you look at pic's of ran with out paint? readers rides chris's new ride?

So,Panky, are you saying if the bits were sorted, respray etc ,it would then be worth 2,500? OR as is 2,500? i liked "in the current climate ...."!! They,ll end up like splitty vw's at this rate !Think this is where I stop thinking about one ! Silly prices due to the hype!

The climate can change quickly that's for sure (global warming or moving on to the next in thing). I think would fetch 2.5 with all the work done, but how much would that cost. If I spent all that out I think I'd keep it.

Hiya Pixie please don't be put off by our banter, we promised honest opinions and we give them. It is such a shame that some panels have deteriorated but your van is at that point were someone needs to do a bit of work to keep it going (nowt needed on interior though and we know a man who can supply the panels[^]). The history you have sounds great and if I were in the market for another I would be sorely tempted. Don't be disheartened there will be someone around who will snap it up :)

I hope so, I think she likes it and it must be comforting to know she is not alone. That sounds scary sorry [:0]. After all it would be cheaper to add a few baby seat fixing points than to buy an MPV

Hello,

I'm not too disheartened, just confused!! I've had the van for 7 years and think that she is wonderful, but she does need some work on the body and the child safety issue front too. No money for now, but not sure she should wait for the attention. Someone came to see her yesterday and I have an offer if I decide to go ahead for a sale. How much would it cost for panels, other bits of body work and respray ....? who would do for reasonable cost? (Prices for stuff in Lndon/SE never seem reasonable!) Anywhere I can garage her for next to nothing until cash flow better? in this weather rust can only get worse!!

Sounds a bit low to me pixie; how does it compare to this one? Yours sounds better

I was assuming they had missed a zero off the end ...

Mine is very much nicer all round I think and as the person who came to view last night can vouch, she runs pretty well too!

Tempted to contact the body works place ...

The commer community is being a (bad?) influence!
