I am new!

Hi all

I am a newby!

Names Craig and I a live near Blackburn and Accrington (Lancahire) Been into all sorts through my adult life - Music, Scooters (Lambretta's) VW's all revolving around havin some fun!

Anyway long story short as I am sure I will get asked where my user name has come from - It was the name of a 1963 Lambretta SX150 I once owned.

Havin a look round for a van now but by the looks of it you have to move fast when one comes up in the price range you got to spend LOL

I am sure I will be bobbing in and out of the site - looks like a good place for info and potential help!

Hi there and welcome to the Madhouse:D
My first motorised transport was a '63 LI 150 bought for £12 and paid for in two instalments:) Sold it six months later for £20:D
Yep this is the place for Commer info, feel free to ask.

Nice one Craig it's good to see someone else into the same sort of shiz as me but I am into both lambrettas and vespas aswell as commer vans old mg's or in fact anything old or quirky. Hope you find a van although a little beauty is being bid on till Saturday 14th on eBay maybe worth a look:D

yea Vespa's as well but gotta be 60's (or earlier)

item number or even link would be good mate - I don't seam to be able to se anything ending on the 14th..... either that or I am being daft (thats been said before so I sort of believe it now!)

Something weird is going on in eBay land cus it's saying it's finished with no biding activity which I know is wrong. The seller gave two numbers 01159791874 & 0787891353 I would give him a ring as I'm sure it was supposed to end 7.30 Saturday morning

yea its well sold collected and gone - I was talking to the chap on Sunday about it and wanted to view on Monday - it was in storage and he wanted to get it out - Tuesday I said I would get to him by lunch but was told it would be later in the day....... Wednesday came and I could not go although he had already put the price up since talking to him on the Sunday - and it sold that day - gutted really as I could of been at his house / storage on the monday - I am SURE I will find one in time!

Bad news, I'm always nosing around for anything commer related so if I see anything I will put on the forum. Good look

That is about the biggest body they ever put on a comer so it will be rather limited in the performance area;) Looks very well used and has the wear and repairs to show for it, door bottoms plated/filled over but the peak and front panel look OK in the pictures. It wasn't that long ago good examples of this conversion would go for a few hundred quid or not sell at all, in my opinion the asking price is a bit optimistic. I may be wrong and it's an absolute gem but only a close inspection will show.
