So I'm sure some of you watched Top Gear?

They mentioned a site called howmanyleft.co.uk so I duly went there for our marque...

It shows all Commers not specific models and there are less than a thousand.. 983 to be precise! + 249 SORN

Doesn't include those not taxed/sorned though, so there's always going to be more in garages/barns etc.

It's strange, although it gave me no end of trouble I've still got an affection for the old rattley rust bucket:I Big and comfortable, in a plasticy '70s way, I learned a lot from tinkering and fettling it on a daily basis - as well as doing some fairly major stuff:)

According to that, there are only 120 odd carlton gsi 24 valvers left in the uk. damn spares are going to start getting a pain in the arris to get soon!

Dont try and lead me astray....i know the way myself!!
