Hi all,

The horn is not working - I have various bits and have just got a Lucas horn push/ rod bit (i'm very technical :oops:). I have had it working but only once - can someone post if they are able to a couple of pics. I am assuming the centre button must have a spring or two as well as the rod?
 
Perfect, thanks Panky. It is the spring I am missing and that gives me a good idea of size - the horn push I have is from a Lucas one from an MG, looks to fit just about right.

When it worked briefly earlier, as you can imagine it wasn't a standard Commer horn sound :p
 
Just out of interest does it just pull out? My horn doesn't work and so someone just put toggle switch on dashboard so would be quite nice to get it working again
 
It pulls out, it's held in place with the three spring clips. A gentle shove to the side with the palm of your hand usually shifts it.
 
Regarding the horn... Mines ALL there & spotlessly clean now & connected leading to purple/blk wire but NO beep beep!.... Is there s live feed somewhere I'm missing?...I've fitted a NEW one pin horn will that make a difference?
