The thing is Martin, they are adamant they want it restored and the cost is neither here nor there. Witha bit of luck they will come on here to seek help. They did come on here once before after I knocked on their door.
It would be such a shame if they let it just sit there and wait for your hoover to arrive

Panky, the limits of my resto work thus far is to restore the rear door cupboard that Daytona kindly gave to us at the new forrest. I was going to use it as apattern to make new ones but decided to try and save the original wood as much as poss. I got away with relacing just one piece of the edge trim (from wickes of all places) I will put apic up when Cazz can remember batteries lol
