"The first Commer HiTor (H1), was itself converted from a Commer SunTor. It took five days from arriving at Torcars, in September 1973, to become a SunTor, it was then in October given a roof lift, to be a HiTor, to be exhibited at the Motor Show in November. The insert, shows the two men in charge, Ron Webster, & Paul Hutchinson."
(Geek spot : the drains for the front luggage well come out of the side of the roof on this initial HiTor, rather than the front on the HiTors that I've seen).
