HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA!!!

This van has been on my radar for a few years and was originally going to be the surprise for sam my wife on our wedding day until charlie turned up on Ebay. i still hoped to have rescued it, the problem was it didnt belong to the landowner, and the guy that dropped it off was only a friend of the commer owner, this friend was proving impossible to trace,(trust me i put in some legwork) including going to his last known workplace. i have kept an eye on the van for a couple of years and now suddenly its gone! i spoke to the landowner now best part of eighty who said the new owner had contacted the previous and bought the van all in the space of a couple of weeks. im just a bit worried for all parties ie; landowner and previous van owner.

Sounds like a worthy cause, keep up the search and who knows one day it will be yours[^]

It was a lovely van with very low miles and a sweet engine and the old boy would move it regularly and park it on tarpaulins. i didnt want it particularly for myself (wasnt taxed exempt, i have family now!!!) but to pass it on to someone here to see it loved and used again instead of sitting in a field deteriorating. One of the lines of enquiry i tried in a last ditch attempt to buy it as the wedding loomed nearer was the police for help with the owner but they said the van wasnt on the PNC database which i believe is connected directly to DVLA, i just get a nasty feeling its fallen into the wrong hands.
