Any honest opinions on this van or has anyone been to see it?

Lots of space in the back, a bit worried about the peak?

I saw this today. I'm no expert but it looks like an honest van and is nice and clean inside. The outside is better than it appears on the e-bay advert and Bruce has some replacement parts which would come in handy, including the passenger door. The front sills will need replacing before the next MOT and the peak section to me looks like it should all be cut and out and replaced with new metal. It drives really well and was very polite on the streets of the Olympic Borough of Waltham Forest. Couldn't see any oil leeks and the radiator was working well, as was the fan heater.

The interior was great for space and quirky cupboards, a really bright cab too. Bruce is a pretty straight up sort of fellow and would like it to be loved! A bargain for someone?

Sorry all for not seeing this post earlier, been extremely busy. Yes it's our van, decided we didn't want it parked up on the London streets.

Hopefully someone enjoys frequent weekends away!!!
 
I would have loved this, as it was just what I was looking for, just a little out of my financial reach at the moment though.
If anyone has a running project with a little MOT on her, or one with just mechanical problems,( as I haven't learnt to do bodywork yet ), in the £1500 - £1700 region ?, not a lot I know, but I might be lucky.

Hi, we sold the campervan to a lovely couple who came to look at him, I think they'll have as much fun as we have over the years!!! I obviously pointed them towards the Commer Van Fan website, which has already helped them!!! One day we'll buy another Commer (obviously!!!) BTW I noticed the Commer Owners Club the other day... they should join Commer Van Fan!!! Thanks!!!
